Eden Leisure Group Through The Eden Leisure Foundation has announced the remarkable success of the second edition of its annual Gala, raising just under €50,000 in support of the Inspire Foundation, surpassing its fundraising target of €40,000.

Held at the InterContinental Malta’s Arena, this year’s gala transformed the space into an immersive, fairytale-inspired experience celebrating compassion, community, and collective purpose. Guests, partners, and supporters came together in an evening of elegance and philanthropy to champion Inspire Foundation’s LinC Day School Programme with the creation of two transformative spaces for children with disabilities.
The funds raised will go directly toward building an Independent Living Studio and a Sensory-Friendly Library, creating a safe environment where children aged 5 –11 can practise essential skills such as managing their daily routines, reading and emotional regulation.
These new facilities will allow Inspire’s young learners to move from simply being taught independence to actually experiencing it, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world living.
Speaking after the gala, Kate de Cesare, Chairperson of the Eden Leisure Foundation, emphasised the importance of long-term support for organisations like Inspire:
“Every contribution made at the Enchanted Gala is an investment in a child’s future, in their dignity, and in their right to thrive. Our Foundation exists to lift our community in meaningful ways, and this project with Inspire does exactly that.”
Antonello Gauci, Inspire Foundation CEO, echoed the sentiment, noting how critical such spaces are for the children they support:
“The Independent Living Studio and Sensory Library will transform how our students learn and grow. Thanks to the Eden Leisure Foundation and everyone who contributed, these children will finally have spaces designed specifically to help them practise independence and feel safe while doing so.”
The Eden Leisure Foundation, established to deepen Eden Leisure Group’s long-standing dedication to social responsibility, continues to expand its reach across three pillars: culture & heritage, environmental protection & animal welfare, and community advancement.
Last year alone, the Foundation donated over €100,000 to local voluntary organisations and with the growing success of events like its annual gala, its impact continues to accelerate.
The Eden Leisure Foundation looks forward to future editions of the gala as well as other fundraising activities, and remains committed to supporting projects that preserve Malta’s heritage, protect its environment, and uplift the communities that need it most.
