The Eden Leisure Group, through the Maurice and Cettina De Cesare Foundation, will be financing a €60,000 project to restore the one-of-a-kind mechanical Guthrie Bridge at Fort Rinella in Kalkara.

The Eden Leisure Group has created a campaign in an attempt to #breakthestigma during World Mental Health Awareness Day. Their initiatives centred around training their employees and informing the general public on the importance of Mental Health.

Due to its great success in previous years, the Eden SuperBowl will once again be organising Free Summer Bowling, a programme that gives all children between the ages 5 to 13, two free games of bowling every day throughout the whole of summer. The human race’s excessive consumption of meat is a chief contributor to climate change, this prompted Eden Leisure’s Green Committee to organise an activity that would encourage its staff members to reduce their meat intake and give them healthier and tasty alternatives instead. The idea of Meatless-Monday isn’t a new one, it took off in the US and has spread to over 30 countries worldwide.
A 28-hour long live radio broadcast took place in February, where listeners were encouraged to call and donate money towards the Terry Time Foundation. The trust hopes to raise €500,000 to help fund radio personality Terry Farrugia’s cancer treatment. Bay can confirm that the sum of €5,407.92 was collected in just 28 hours.

The 22nd edition of the Mediterranean Bowling Championships will be held in Malta for the 3rd time in 2019.
