Andrew Zammit – Station Manager
Andrew started working at Eden Leisure’s radio station, 89.7 Bay, as a part time evening presenter. He immediately showed promise and after finishing his university studies, he was employed on a full time basis as the 89.7 Bay Drive time host. Andrew’s radio career flourished and he was promoted to senior producer and subsequently Head of Production in 2009. Soon after, Andrew was entrusted with the flagship show at 89.7 Bay, Bay Breakfast. Following three successful years at the helm of the breakfast show, Andrew left Eden Leisure and moved on to Sales and Marketing. He gained his first managerial experience as the Group Sales and Marketing manager of a marine services firm in 2012. Early on in 2014, Eden Leisure and Andrew crossed paths once more and he rejoined the group as the Group Sales Manager, a position he occupies this day. After four successful years at the helm of the Eden Leisure Group’s Sales Team, Andrew was entrusted with leading 89.7 Bay, a position which he has aspired to hold since first joining the company back in 2003.
