British-born Jim permanently relocated to Malta in late 2009, joining the Eden Leisure Group in early 2011 as the General Manager of Cynergi Health & Fitness club. Having helped oversee the extensive refurbishment of the club later that year, Jim has been the driving force behind the establishment of a service-driven approach at the club, focussing on the continuous improvement of both the range and quality of facilities and services provided. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the club, a team of internationally qualified fitness professionals and a dedicated member service team, Jim’s mission is to ensure that Cynergi provides a first-class fitness experience to members in a friendly but professional environment. Actively involved in the fitness industry since 2001, Jim has previously held operational and managerial roles with two prestigious international health club operators – Holmes Place and Virgin Active. He is a qualified gym instructor, Body Pump instructor and former lifeguard, and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Retail Marketing.
