On Tuesday 4th April, Fondazzjoni Wens held the official opening of their in-house gym at their Rehabilitation centre in Hal Far.
The new gym features equipment in excellent condition donated by Cynergi Health and Fitness Club. Fondazzjoni Wens’s aim is to enhance the quality of life of disabled persons through innovative personalised support, expertise, and advocacy, maximising their ability to fully participate in community life. They currently have 84 residents who they cater to
Eden Leisure Group’s marketing director, Kate de Cesare, who was present at the official launch stated:
“Cynergi Health and Fitness Club has recently undergone a massive refurbishment and although our previous equipment was still in excellent condition, we decided to donate it all to those in need. We donated over 200 pieces of equipment to various organisations. Dar il-Wens Foundation offer an invaluable service and we are glad that our equipment has been put to great use here.”
