On International Education Day, our team celebrated by hosting a Book Swap event. Staff members brought in books they had read and were eager to share with others. In exchange, they were able to select a book from the collection to take home and enjoy.
A book swap is an event where participants bring in books they have already read and wish to pass on to others. These books are then made available for other participants to take home and enjoy. The concept behind a book swap is to promote reading and the sharing of literature while also reducing waste by reusing books instead of buying new ones.
The book swap organised by our team was a great way to encourage employees to share their love of reading and discover new books they may not have otherwise had the chance to read. Overall, it was a fun and educational experience for all who participated.
