The Eden Cinemas Shares In Worldwide Centennial Celebrations Of Leonard Bernstein

Three Royal Ballet choreographers honour the creative genius of Leonard Bernstein as part of the special worldwide centennial celebration of works created in response to his music, screened live at Eden Cinemas on Tuesday 27 March at 8.15pm, followed by an encore on Sunday 1st April at 3pm.

This programme includes two world premieres of by Wayne McGregor and Christopher Wheeldon, as well as the first revival of Liam Scarlett’s The Age of Anxiety set to Bernstein’s Symphony No 2.

Continuing his distinctive creative collaborations beyond the world of dance, Wayne McGregor’s new ballet incorporates designs by artist Edmund de Waal, and is set to Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms. Christopher Wheeldon collaborates with award-winning fashion designer Erdem Moralioglu to create the costumes for his piece.

Tickets are available at €18 for adults and €10 for children under 16. This includes a complimentary glass of wine, free parking at the Eden Leisure Car park and 25% discount at Waterbiscuit.

For those unable to attend the live show, an encore screening will be held on Sunday 8th October at 3pm. Tickets are priced at €15 for adults and €10 for children, including free parking and 25% discount at Waterbiscuit.
