Be part of a global audience by visiting Renoir’s largest exhibition in the world, found at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia. On the 16th of February at 8pm, Eden Cinemas will transport you to an exclusive visit to the unrivalled collection of 181 Renoir works. 

The event will grant unrestricted access to Dr. Albert C. Barnes’ unique, who admired Renoir above all other artists. This exhibition on screen will promote a fresh look at one of the 20th century’s greatest artists, and help to explore why Renoir has inspired artists for over 100 years.

Renoir – Revered and Reviled will uncover the rarely told story of Renoir’s artistic reinvention, and will explore its profound implications for two artistic greats of the 20th century: Picasso and Matisse. Viewers will be able to decide their opinion on Renoir’s work for themselves, guided by a host of esteemed art experts and an up-close view of the collection itself. The film includes interviews with leading art critics from the New York Times and the Washington Post, internationally renowned scholars and several artists.

Filmed in stunning high definition exclusively for the big screen, audiences are taken on a journey through the must-see art exhibition. The cinematic event is definitely a unique experience for all art fans, allowing them access to specific works of art in breath-taking detail. 

 

Tickets for Renoir – Revered and Reviled are available at a fraction of the overseas prices. Each ticket is €12, which includes a complimentary glass of wine and free parking at the Eden car Park. MCAST artists will be displaying their work of arts throughout the cinema foyer.
