Music, laughter and lots of excitement filled the 3000m2 of Casino Malta, on Friday the 12th of February at its Grand Opening Gala. From 8pm, the exclusive event transported visitors to a New Orleans Carnival themed evening with spectacular visuals projected throughout the casino, and animators enchanting the guests – the night was kicked off with a true Mardi Gras feel.
The Maltese band, Versatile, set the mood while visitors explored all of the entertainment organised by the casino. With illusionists, cartoonists, jugglers, fire breathers and many more, Casino Malta pushed the boundaries of the casino opening. Organising live demonstrations, such as 3D printing, sushi, one-on-one magic shows, juggling barmen and exotic face painting was part of the evening’s entertainment. The team truly demonstrated their capability and what it takes to form part of the team of what has become Malta’s no. 1 casino.
Prime Minister Joseph Muscat was present during the evening. He congratulated the Eden Leisure Group for this undertaking adding that this investment is another vote of confidence in the Maltese economy that, as the proprietors themselves agreed, has now reached record levels. It is the because of these good decisions that projects like these are coming to life and the result is that the general public is benefitting from them.
Chairman of Eden Leisure Group, Ian De Cesare expressed his gratitude to all those who worked hard to make this a reality. He explained that Olympic Entertainment Group were chosen as operators as they managed their casinos with a high level of service and entertainment, a style that best suited the Eden Leisure Group.
